The professionals at The Dental Hub are trained in the early detection of precancerous and cancerous lesion in the mouth. During every dental visit, comprehensive evaluation of tongue, cheeks, lips, floor of the mouth, hard and soft palate is done as part of routine oral cancer screening.

Upon identification of any suspicious lesion, thorough medical and dental history of patients is taken to rule out traumatic or other health related causes. Suspicious lesions are then closely monitored over 2 week’s period. If lesions do not resolve within two weeks period, and if there is no contributing medical condition, then several diagnostic steps are taken to reach confirmed diagnosis.
